We tried everything – hooks, laces, poppers, buttons, zips, belts, bows… But nothing worked like we wanted. Then we invented a special clasp and the amazing brand name “Mrs Tinge’s Soft Ones”.
Mrs Tinge thought a lot about them. Why were they too warm in summer and too cold in winter? Why could they not shape up your bot and tum (unless they were made of uncomfortable elasticated plastic)? Why were they so difficult to pull-on (from your feet, up your legs, and round your bot)? And pull-off? Why were they not absorbent? And not waterproof? Why are they not comfortable? Why when they were thin and skimpy could you see their seams – and thus the outline of your knickers – through your trousers? And more questions.
The textile engineers invented “Tinjoform” which is soft and foamy on one side, the inside, and soft and waterproof on the other side, the outside. It is made of spun cotton and a special soft polymer, it can be formed in any shape, thickness, elasticity and colour. Tinjoform is very lightweight – it is full of tiny holes, but very strong.
The clothing engineers invented a special clasp; it is made of soft nylon and is very flat and does not show through your clothing.
So how did that help? No problem, there is a lot you can do with some laser scanners to measure your bot and a clever chunk of software to use your measurements to drive the machines that spin and form Tinjoform.
So what does a pair of Mrs Tinge’s Soft Ones knickers made of Tinjoform look like? The first obvious difference is that there are no holes (for the legs and the torso). The knickers are T‑shaped, there are two side flaps (for the left side and the right side) and a slightly longer one for underneath, the special clasp holds everything together.
Are they sexy? Mrs Tinge says that women look sexier when not wearing any knickers.
The knickers are soft and comfortable, they are elastic where they need to be elastic, they are thicker where they need to be thick, they are thinner where they need to be thin, they fit your bot, but on the outside they have the shape and form of the bot you would like to have.
The knickers are soft and comfortable and look good. They are absorbent on the inside, and especially shaped on the outside. They are easy to put on and take off – just wrap the knickers around your bot and twist the clasp; or untwist the clasp and unwrap the knickers.
So a few seconds for the laser scanners to measure your bot and the computer will show you a picture of yourself wearing a pair of Mrs Tinge’s Soft Ones knickers in standard form. The picture rotates – what do you look like from behind?
