The drunken sailor wandered into the captain’s cabin and found the captain’s daughter in bed, did she look beautiful. She looked at him, she captivated him. He sang to her.

I will buy you sheets and blankets I'll buy you a wedding ring You shall have a silver cradle For to rock the baby in

She looked at him, he looked at her, she was wearing a pink bonnet, a pink blouse and a long pink skirt. She looked at him, he looked at her, she slowly changed from a beautiful girl to a beautiful me. The captain’s daughter was a dog, the captain’s daughter was a big dog.

The drunken sailor ran out of the cabin.

The girl in pink and me in pink appeared at door of the storage loft by the loading crane at the top of a narrow, three-storied house. We sang All Around My Hat I Shall Wear The Green Tomato.

The camera cut back to show the whole canal basin, there were sailors in stripey tops all over the quayside and the boats, the cat was dressed as the captain, we sang all the verses and choruses, we all threw our arms (except me) into the air for each Whay Hay.

Put him in the bed with the captain’s daughter Put him in the bed with the captain’s daughter Put him in the bed with the captain’s daughter Earlie in the morning! Whay hay and up she rises Whay hay and up she rises Whay hay and up she rises Earlie in the morning!
