one chicken breast piece sliced horizontally,
one slice hard cheese (such as Cheddar or processed cheese),
one slice ham (or bacon rasher),
salt and pepper to taste,
oil or butter for frying
Clean, salt and pepper each chicken breast slice.
Brown on both sides.
Remove from pan, wrap the ham around the chicken and place the cheese on it.
Secure with toothpicks or cotton thread if necessary.
Fry until done and the cheese melts (with a lid on the pan if you have one).
Serve hot with almost anything.
This is an extremely simple and tasty recipe for one person
(or for five, just quintuple the ingredients).
