It was a big surprise, those two brothers of mine, or rather, those two who I thought were my brothers. After all these years they told me, it was shock. They were the offspring of the great Betty. That meant that they were high-born and I was not. They were not my brothers, I was low-born. Oh! It was so hard for me. No brothers and worse still, low-born.
It was harder still for them, they were high-born, and if you were high-born, you had to marry someone from the book. And in the book were only two females of high-birth, they were both princesses, but over ninety and not rich.
