I am in a small, dark room with a large TV screen on one wall, dotty. I can see Olive and George on the screen, dotty. Who are they, dotty? Olive is wearing a bright, shiny red one-piece suit – very odd – dotty.

There is granny and there is Johnnie speaking words I do not understand, dotty. Where am I and where is Larry, dotty? Why is Larry so important to me, dotty?

I am in Florence’s head, if I turn Florence’s head will I see Larry, dotty? I move the biggest lever to the left, but Florence’s head does not move, dotty. I move the lever to the right, but the head does not move, dotty.

Perhaps I am Florence, dotty. Johnnie walks up to me, very close, I can see every hair in his moustache, he says that I should pretend that it was Larry, dotty. What does he mean, dotty?

Who is dotty, dotty?

I can see Olive and George on the screen, dotty. I don’t know who they are, dotty. I try to speak one word, dotty. What does it mean, dotty? I try two words, dotty dotty. Everyone is looking at me, dotty dotty. Where is Larry, dotty dotty?

I move the big lever up, I’m falling, I fall a long, long way, dotty dotty. I fall onto something soft, perhaps it is Johnnie, dotty dotty.

I think that the dotty has gone away. I can see Olive and George, mum and dad, so I must be Florence. I move the big lever to the left – I can see Larry – he’s got thick white legs and arms – Larry is very important to me – why?

Johnnie is sitting down, Johnnie is speaking words I do not understand.

I try to speak one word, Larry. What does it mean, Larry? I try two words, Larry Larry. Everyone is looking at me, dotty dotty. There is Larry, Larry Larry.
